1. VACANCIES:
The total number of vacancies and reserved vacancies given hereunder, are provisional and which may vary depending upon future needs of the Bank.

NOTE:-

2. HOW TO APPLY :-

2.        Candidates are required to have a valid personal e-mail ID. It should be kept active during the currency of this recruitment project. Bank may send call letters for written test, interview etc. through the registered e-mail ID. Under no circumstances, he/she should share/mention e-mail ID to/ of any other person.

3.        In case a candidate does not have a valid personal e-mail ID, he/she should create his/her new e-mail ID before applying on-line.

4.        Applicants are first required to go to the Bank’s website ‘www.bankofbaroda.com’ and open the link “Recruitment”. Thereafter, open the Recruitment Notification entitled “RECRUITMENT OF -1200- PROBATIONARY OFFICERS”.

5.        Take a Print of the entire Recruitment Notification, including the ‘FEES PAYMENT CHALLAN’.

6.        Fill in the Fee Payment Challan in a clear and legible handwriting in BLOCK LETTERS.

7.        Go to the nearest Bank of Baroda Branch with the Fee payment Challan duly filled in and pay, in Cash, the appropriate Application Fee in Account No.29040200000169 with Bandra Kurla Complex Branch in favour of “Bank of Baroda Recruitment of Probationary Officers Project 2010”. The amount of fee to be paid is indicated below :

8.        Obtain the Counterfoil (Applicant’s Copy) of the Fee Payment Challan duly received by the Bank with (a) Branch Name & Code Number, (b) Transaction ID, (c) Date of Deposit & amount filled by the Branch Official.

9.        Candidates are now ready to Apply On-Line by re-visiting the Recruitment page of the Bank’s website and going to the sublink titled “APPLY ONLINE for Recruitment of -1200- Probationary Officers”. Click on this sublink will open up the appropriate On-Line Application Format.

10.     Carefully fill in the necessary details from the Fee Payment Challan in the On-Line Application Form at the appropriate places and submit the same on line.

11.     Original counterfoil of the fee payment challan will have to be submitted with the Call Letter at the time of written test. Without counterfoil of the fee payment challan the candidate will not be allowed to appear in the written test. Candidates are therefore advised to keep 3 photocopies of the fee payment challan for future use.

12.     The name of the candidate or his/her father/husband etc. should be spelt correctly in the application as it appears in the certificates/mark sheets. Any change / alteration found may disqualify the candidature.

IMPORTANT DATES:-

Fees deposited after the last date i.e 10.04.2010 will not be entertained by the Bank.

3. EMOLUMENTS:

PAY: Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of one year. They will draw salary in the scale of Rs.10000-470/6-12820-500/3-14320-560/7-18240 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I. They will also be eligible for DA, HRA, & CCA as per rules in force from time to time. At present, initial monthly emoluments of Junior Management Grade Scale I Officers, including DA, HRA, CCA, are approximately Rs. 18000/- in a Metropolitan Centre. (The scale of pay is under revision.)

4. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA AND GENERAL INFORMATION:

A) QUALIFICATION: (AS ON 01.07.2010)

Degree in any discipline from a recognized University OR Any equivalent qualification recognized by Central Government. Should be computer literate (Proficient in MS-office, basic applications, internet usage.etc)

Candidates who are appearing for Final year examination of Graduation are also eligible to apply provided they produce proof of having passed the Graduation examination on or before 01st July 2010. Candidature of such Candidates whose results are declared or have marksheet dated after 01.07.2010 would be rejected.

B) AGE: (As on 01.01.2010 ) Minimum: 21 Years, Maximum: 30 Years

RELAXATION IN UPPER AGE LIMIT :-

1.        Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates by 5 years.

2.        Other Backward Classes candidates by 3 years.

3.        In the case of ex-servicemen and commissioned officers including ECOs / SSCOs who have rendered at least 5 years military service and have been released on completion of assignment (including those whose assignment is due to be completed within the next one year from the last date for receipt of application) other than by way of dismissal or discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency or on account of physical disability attributable to military service or on being declared as invalid, by 5 years for selection through written test & interview and by 3 years plus period of service in Armed Forces for selection through interview only, subject to ceiling as per Govt. guidelines.

4.        All persons who have ordinarily been domiciled in Kashmir Division of J & K State during 01.01.1980 and 31.12.1989 by 5 years.

5.        For Persons With Disability by 10 years which by cumulation becomes (a) by 15 years for SC/ST (b) by 13 years for OBC and (c) by 10 years for General.

Note:

• An ex-serviceman who has once joined a Government Job on the civil side after availing the benefits given to him as Ex-serviceman for his re-employment including a job in Public Sector Undertaking, ceases to enjoy Ex-serviceman status for his further employment.
• The relaxation in upper age limit is cumulative as per the Government guidelines.

Note :

(1) Graduate Candidates who have not passed XIIth Standard Examination but have passed Diploma course after Xth Standard with 60% aggregate marks (55% for SC/ ST/PWD). are eligible for the captioned recruitment, provided:
(a) Diploma course passed must be a minimum of Two years duration full time course (Diploma course through correspondence are not eligible)
(b) The Diploma course should be recognised/ approved by the State Board of Technical Education of the concerned State /UT.
(2) The percentage of marks in XIIth Std./ Diploma Course/ Graduation shall be arrived at by dividing the marks obtained by the candidate in all the subjects by aggregate maximum marks of all subjects irrespective of optional/ additional optional subjects studied. In case of candidates who have worked in Scheduled Commercial Bank(s) in the field of Agriculture / Rural Business, the upper age will be relaxed by the completed number of years of experience of the candidates, subject to maximum of 5 yrs.

Relaxation in the Upper Age Limit to Reserved category candidates
Upper age is relaxable by
(i) 3 years in the case of OBC candidates.
(ii) 5 years in the case of : (a) SC/ST candidates. (b) Ex-servicemen (including

1.    ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS
(a)    Age Limits
 A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st August, 2010, i.e. he must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1980 and not later than 1st August, 1989. FOR ADMISSION TO MBBS/BDS COURSE UNDER 15% MERIT POSITIONS IN MEDICAL/DENTAL COLLEGE

Applications are invited in the prescribed form for All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Examination (AIPMT) 2010 to be conducted by the Central Board oi Secondary Education, Delhi as per the following schedule for admission to 15% of the total seats for Medical/ Dental Courses in all Medical/ Dental Colleges run by the Union ot India, State Governments, Municipal and other local authorities in India except in the States of ANDHRA PRADESH AND JAMMU & KASHMIR:

1. Preliminary Examination: 3rd April, 2010 (Saturday)

PATTERN OF EXAMINATION: Both Preliminary & Final Examination would be of Objective Type.

Eligibility

1. He/She has completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year M.B.B.S. / B.D.S. Course and is an INDIAN NATIONAL. 
2. The upper age limit For All India Pre-Medical / Pre-Dental Entrance Examination is 25 years as on 31st December of the year of the entrance examination. Further provided that upper age limit shall be relaxed by a period of 5 (five) years for the candidates of Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes/ Other Backward Classes.
3. The number of attempts which a candidate can avail at All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Examination shall be limited to 3 (three) uniformly for all the candidates.
4. The candidates must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the qualifying examination. In respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in qualifying examination be 40% instead of 50% for General Candidates. Further, for  persons for locomotory disability of lower limbs, the minimum of 45% marks for General-PH and 40% marks for SC-PH/ST-PH/OBC-PH are required. Those who are taking plus two examination in 2010 can also appear for the entrance test provisionally subject to their fulfilling the conditions later. 
5. 15% seats for SC candidates, 7.5% seats lor ST candidates, 27% seats lor non-creamy layer OBC candidates in Central Institutions only and 3% seats on horizontal basis for Physically Handicapped candidates are reserved in 15% All India Quota for MBBS/BDS courses. 
6. A candidate can apply for the All India Pre-Medical/ Pre-Dental Entrance bamination in either of the following two ways:  Application may be made on the prescribed Application Form. The Information Bulletin and Application Form costing Rs. 800/- for General/OBC Category and Rs, 450/- for SC/ST category can be obtained against Cash Payment from the designated branches of Canara Bank/Regional Offices of the CBSE between 20-10-2009 to 27-11-2009. Information Bulletin and Application Form can also be obtained by Post from the Board by sending a written request with a Demand Draft for Rs. 850/- for General/OBC Category and Rs, 500/- for SC/ST Category payable to the Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi 
   alongwith a Self-Addressed Envelope of size 12″x10″. The request must reach to the Board on or before 18-11-2009. The request should be superscribed as “Request for Information Bulletin and Application Form for AIPMT-2010″.
7. Online:  Online submission of application may be made by accessing the Board’s website www.aipmt.nic.in from 20-10-2009 (10.00 A.M.) to 27-11-2009 (5.00 P.M.). Instructions for sending online application, payment oi fee and computer generated printout are available on the Board’s website. Fee of Rs. 300/- for General/OBC Category Candidates and Rs. 450/- for SC/ST Category Candidates may be remitted in the following ways
   1.     By Credit Card, or 
   2.     Through Demand Draft in favour of the Secretary, Central Board ol Secondary Education, Delhi drawn on any Nationalized Bank payable at Delhi. 
8. Last Date of Submission of Application Forms: Both offline and online (Computer generated printout) Application should be sent through registered post/speed post only so as to reach to the Board on or before 04-12-2009. Boards Address for Sending Application: The Deputy Secretary (AIPMT), Central Board of Secondary Education, Shiksha Kendra, 2, Community Centre, Preet Vihar, Delhi-110301. 
9. Candidates must purchase the Application Forms from the designated branches ol Canara Bank or Regional Offices of CBSE only. Application Form obtained from an unauthorized source will be REJECTED.

IIT JEE 2010 (Joint Entrance Exam) notification on October 31, 2009

The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is an all-India examination administered and conducted in eight IIT zones across the country by the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) for admission to undergraduate courses at all IITs, IT-BHU, Varanasi and ISMU, Dhanbad

Examination Schedule: April 11th (Sunday), 2010, Paper 1 – 09.00 – 12.00 hrs, Paper 2 – 14.00 – 17.00 hrs

Paper-1 and Paper-2 will each have separate sections in Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics. Both papers will be of objective type, designed to test comprehension, reasoning and analytical ability of candidates. Syllabus for this examination will be available on the website of all IITs. The candidate will have the option of submitting the application form either on-line or off-line.

1. On-line application process: From Sunday, November 01, 2009 to Monday December 07, 2009
2. Off-line application process: From Monday, November 16, 2009 to Tuesday, December 15, 2009
3. Last date of receipt of completed hard copy of application forms at IITs: Saturday, December 19, 2009
