1.ELIGIBILITY
(A) NATIONALITY / CITIZENSHIP
A candidate must be either i) a citizen of India or ii) a subject of Nepal or iii)a subject of Bhutan or iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanentlly setting in India or v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka , East African countries of Kenya, Uganda , the United Republic of Tanzania(formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar) Zambia, Malawi, Zaire Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently setting of India. Provided tha t a candidate belonging to categories (ii) , (iii). (iv)or (V) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India . A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination/ Interview conducted by the Bank but on final selection the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificates have been issued to him by the government of India.
(B) EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (As on the Date of Application): Graduate in any discipline with 40% or more marks in aggregate from a recognized university or its equivalent qualification. SC/ ST / XS/ VH/ HI/ OH candidate must obtain 35% marks. Computer literacy is essential for the post.

- The Union Public Service Commission will hold an Examination on 24th October, 2010 for recruitment of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in Central Police Forces (CPF) viz. Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). The examination will be held at various centers across the country. Salient features of the examination are published herein for General information of candidates. For details egarding eligibility conditions, the syllabus and scheme of the examination, centres of examination, guidelines for filling up application form etc. aspirants must consult the Detailed Notice of the examination published in the Employment News/Rozgar Samachar dated 29″1 May, 2010.
- CONDITIONS OF ELIGIBILITY:
(a) Age Limits: Candidates must have attained the age of 20 years and must not have attained the age of 25 years as on 16′ August, 2010. The upper age limit is relaxable for Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/ Other Backward Class and certain other categories of candidates to the extent specified in the Notice. (b) Educational Qualifications: Degree of a recognised University or an equivalent qualification. (c) Sex: Both Male and Female candidates are eligible for appointment to CRPF and CISF. However, only Male candidates are eligible for appointment to BSF, ITBP and SSB. (d) Physical and Medical Standards : Candidates must meet the physical and medical standards specified in Appendix-VI of the Notice published in the Employment News dated 29.05.2010. (e) NCC ‘B’ or ‘C’ Certificate Holders: Possession of NCC ‘B’ or ‘C’ Certificate will be a desireable qualification. The desirable qualifications will be given consideration at the time of Interview/Personality Test only.

Selections will be made on the basis of a Written Examination to be conducted by the UPSC followed by the Physical Standards/Physical Efficiency Tests and Medical Standards Tests to be conducted under the supervision of a Nodal Authority to be appointed by the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Personality Tests/ Interview to be conducted by UPSC.

Scale of Pay: (likely to be revised) Rs. 4410-215/3-5055-335/3-6060-470/4-7940-500/3-9440-560/4-11680-970/1-12650-560/1-13210, (DA,HRA,CCA,Medical, LFC, Pension*,PF, Gratuity etc. will be admissible as per Bank’s rules), Pension (if applicable) will be payable as per rules/policy prevalent at the time of appointment as per Govt of India guidelines as applicable to the Bank and as adopted by the Bank.
Emoluments: The total starting emolument of a Clerical Cadre employee payable at Metro like Mumbai will be around Rs.8878/- per month for Graduates inclusive of D.A. and other allowances at the current rate. Allowances may vary depending upon the place of posting.
Probation period: Minimum period of 6 months. Before the probation period comes to an end, the performance of the newly recruited employees will be evaluated and the probation period of those employees whose performance fails to meet Bank’s expectation, may be extended.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
NATIONALITY/ CITIZENSHIP: A candidate must be either i) a Citizen of India or ii) a subject of Nepal or iii) subject of Bhutan or iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination/interview conducted by the Bank but on final selection the offer of appointment may be given only after the Government of India has issued the necessary eligibility certificate to him/her.
