INVITES APPLICATIONS FOR THE POST OF VIDYUT SAHAYAK JE ELECTRICAL/ MECHANICAL/CIVIL / METALLURGY AND CHEMICAL LIKELY TO ARISE IN THE YEAR 2010-11

Qualification: BE Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Metallurgy (5) Chemical from recognized University with minimum 60 % for Un Reserved and 55% for
Reserved candidates.
Age limit 35 years for reserved and 30 years for UR Fixed Remuneration per month: 1st year –Rs. 13000 /- , 2nd year –Rs.14000/-
Present and future likely vacancies: Electrical / Mechanical – 85, Civil – 10, Metallurgy – 02, Chemical – 03, Total – 100 (Approx)
The selected Vidyut Sahayak shall be appointed for Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Metallurgy or Chemical work for duration of two years and shall be considered for appointment to the post of Jr. Engineer in the pay scale of Rs.17300 – 38910 after successful completion of the period of two years as Vidyut Sahayak (Jr.Engineer) based on their performance.
Candidates meeting with the above criteria may send their bio-data in the prescribed format alongwith (i) Two passport size photographs, (ii) Copy of SLC, (iii) Copy of mark sheet of 7th and 8th Semester (iv) Copy of Caste cerificate on or before 10/12/2010 to The Chief General Manager (HR&A), Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited, Vidyut Bhavan, Race Course, Baroda – 390 007.
